Foi divulgado uma lista com os jogos que estão concorrendo ao prêmio Golden Joystick 2011. O processo de definição é feito através de uma votação disponível no próprio portal do Joystick. Os destaques ficam por conta da presença de jogos como L.A Noire, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood e Portal 2. L.A Noire também ganhou indicação ao lado de Little Big Planet 2 e Metal Gear Solid: Peack Walker na categoria 'Melhor jodo de Ação/Aventura'.
